Sen. Graham Now Against Climate Bill That He Helped Create
Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., who helped craft what has become known as the Kerry-Lieberman climate bill, said he would not vote for the legislation if it came before the full Senate, the Washington Post's Post Carbon blog reported. Graham told reporters that he opposed the bill's limitations on offshore drilling. Graham was quoted as saying: "What I have withdrawn from is a bill that basically restricts drilling in a way that is never going to happen in the future."
